TheSentri programis a trusted traveler program for pre-approved, low-risk travelers entering the United States from Mexico or Canada. Sentri members receive expedited processing through dedicated lanes at select land border crossings, which can save them significant time waiting in line.
To be eligible for Sentri, you must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States, Mexico, or Canada. You must also have a valid passport or other acceptable travel document. Additionally, you must pass a background check and interview with Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
